In the hotfly UV-ICE V2 dubbing dispenser you will find synthetic dubbing in 12 different colours made of medium-long and soft fibres, which can reflect the ultraviolet light spectrum very well, generating reflections of many different shades. It can be used on its own for a more striking effect on the fly, or it can be mixed with other dubbings for a more discreet result.
You can use it to tie bodies and thoraxes of dry flies, emergers, nymphs and streamers. Once wrapped on the hook, you can comb it out with a male Velcro fastener to release some of the dubbing fibres and give volume and movement to your fly.
The hotfly dubbing dispensers contain 1 gram of dubbing in each compartment, which is equivalent to the amount of dubbing in a classic bag. Buying a dispenser saves you money compared to buying a single bag of each colour and having a good stock of product means that you won't easily run out of dubbing and will always have a wide choice of colours at your disposal.
